1How often does my child need well-child visits?
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends checkups at 3–5 days old, 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months, then annually from age 3 through adolescence. We'll help you stay on schedule.
2What happens during a well-child visit?
We conduct a comprehensive physical exam, measure growth and development, administer age-appropriate vaccines, screen for developmental milestones, and discuss nutrition, safety, and any parental concerns.
3Which vaccines does my child need?
We follow the CDC and AAP immunization schedule, including vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, polio, chickenpox, hepatitis, and more. We'll discuss each vaccine and answer your questions at every visit.
4What makes your flu vaccine different?
We use Flucelvax, a cell-based flu vaccine that's more effective than traditional egg-based vaccines. Because it's not grown in eggs, it provides a better match to circulating flu strains and may offer superior protection for your child. It's approved for children 6 months and up.
5What if my child is behind on vaccines?
No problem! We'll create a customized catch-up schedule that's safe and effective. It's never too late to get your child up to date on their immunizations.
6Do you offer sports physicals?
Yes! We provide comprehensive sports physicals for school and athletic programs. These can often be combined with your child's annual well-visit for convenience.
